A lapidary studio is a specialized workshop where precious stones and minerals are transformed into exquisite jewelry and decorative objects. Lapidaries, skilled artisans, use a variety of techniques to cut, polish, and shape stones into various forms, often showcasing their unique colors, patterns, and textures.

The Albuquerque Gem & Mineral Club has now moved our lapidary equipment into a large storage area with light, electrical capability, water availability and adequate room and parking so that we can again offer lapidary studio experience to our club members. 

The location of the storage unit is at: Grizzly Storage, 4200 Bogan Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109

This course is designed to cover studio operations. 

We anticipate this to be an evolving document as we gain more experience with studio operations.
