Any individual who wishes to use the equipment of the lapidary studio must first attend the training or complete this online course and then be thoroughly oriented during their first session by the steward.  The 1-hour in-person training will be offered by a steward or other individual as designated by the Lapidary Chair.  Other requirements include:

• Must be a current AGMC member (i.e., dues paid) 
• Over the age of 12.  Children aged 12 to 17 must complete required training and be supervised by an adult who has met the above requirements.

Members can be barred from the studio by majority vote by the AGMC Board if they are deemed negligent, dangerous, or in recurrent violation of studio rules.
