Grinding and sawing stone can kick up small chips.  Wheels and saws spray out water and/or oil-based coolants.  Everything in the studio can be noisy.

With this in mind certain personal protective items and supplies may include: 

1. Waterproof aprons are available in lapidary studio room.  Participants are welcome to bring their own.
2. Safety glasses, mask/respirators, hearing protection will be available in the lapidary studio room, but participants are urged to bring their own. 
3. Some participants may want to use surgical gloves which they can bring.
4. Supply box (label with name) including glue and screws/nails for dopping, magnifying glass if desired, small hand tools if desired as well as slabs and current lapidary projects.  Corks are available in the lapidary studio room.
